Seek the face of God by remembering what he has done and making his goodness known to others

It is critical to recall and consider the many good things God has done for you and others.¹³³³ Those who recount the Lord’s good works will find themselves with greater trust in God and greater willingness to submit to him.¹³³⁴ Proclaiming the good God has done for you and others¹³³⁵ will help more people receive these same benefits.¹³³⁶

Failing to give God credit for the good things he has done for you and others is a form of turning away from God.¹³³⁷ Those who refuse to credit God for what he has done will find themselves with less gratitude, less joy, less trust in God, less willingness to help others, and less willingness to obey God.
