God’s wisdom is inseparable from his character. What God understands informs how he is, and how he is informs what he understands. Can you understand what he understands?868 Can you reason as well as he does?869 To the extent that you can’t think like God would in your place,870 you will be unable to predict what he would do in your place or how he would feel in your situation. To the extent that your ability to reason falls short of God’s, you will see different options for thought, feeling, and action than he does, and you will see them differently than he does.
