Many have asked why God does not do more to reveal himself to his children. The fact is that he has always done absolutely everything that can be done. There is no limitation in willingness or activity on his part.
God desires to reveal himself to his children,893 but he can only do so in certain ways. We can think, feel, or act in ways that narrow or close off the ways in which God can reveal himself to us. Wherever a limit exists in our understanding of and experience with God, it is completely due to our choices, not his.
