I would like to plan a 3 hour talk on October 4th, somewhere between Provo and Ogden. It's a Friday.
I'm interested in knowing how many people might come and what times they would be able to make it.
I've created a poll you can take
here. Please select the times you could make work (remember, 3 hours) and submit. I will use this to produce an estimate of the expected audience, which will factor into venue selection.
I am also in search of a venue. If you are aware of a potential location, please email me at upwardthought@gmail.com. The time of day will strongly influence how many people attend. The last talk was announced with very little lead time and had around 60 people in attendance. I am not sure what the maximum attendance would be, which would probably coincide with an evening talk.
It was difficult to spend as much time as I would have liked meeting and talking with those who attended the last talk, since it was late once we finished the Q&A and since I had to drive a good distance that night to where I was staying. One benefit of scheduling the talk in the early morning is that there is a potential of plenty of time for discussions and even breakout sessions thereafter.
I hope you can make it.
