0:00:00 - 0:00:28So, um today is October 10th. I don't know when this is gonna get posted. Um Yesterday I had a, a phone call with a friend of mine who is a seer. She has uh has visions all the time and I try to check in with her about once a quarter. Uh But about once every four months or so, we get a chance to catch
0:00:28 - 0:00:53up on the phone and she has a really busy life and I do too and that's, that's just sort of the way it goes. Um And it's, it's a really fruitful friendship because um we, we're at a distance enough that we have very independent lives, but we have sufficient common experiences that we both have. Um uh
0:00:53 - 0:01:14how do you describe this? Um Well, we learn a lot from each other, I guess in, in sharing some of the, the things we go through will have tons of common experience and then there will be a, a something different that will catch and the Lord will start teaching the one person as the other person is teaching
0:01:13 - 0:01:35and aggregating to that. And uh it's nice because um I know she feels like she can talk to me with a lot less filter than she has to employ in the world. Um So, and, and there are opportunities where I, I get to share a few things with her that I think help her. And uh there have been many times where
0:01:35 - 0:02:05she's mentioned something that then the Lord just built an immense amount onto that. But anyway, um it's, it's also very fascinating to explore um through observation, the I don't want to say the gift of, of Sear ship, but the that facet of relationship with God. Um because well, that, that's a point
0:02:05 - 0:02:26worth just exploring a little. So you could call this a level of relationship with God, like some kind of a hierarchical pyramid. And that's not quite right because different gifts, they're more like facets on a gemstone. That's what those little planes are called that are cut into a gemstone facets
0:02:25 - 0:03:01. Um Each one that you pick up shows you more of the, the whole. And so to get to know God, you have to go through these things, these you have to have access to and take advantage of these channels of information, this these views of knowing Him. Um and some are more critical than others. There's more
0:03:00 - 0:03:28that can be conveyed through them. Hopefully, that makes sense. There are different channels of revelation forms of revelation, obviously, different topics and content, different degrees anyway, but it's interesting to through observation, explore the female version of this relationship with God because
0:03:27 - 0:03:51it is very different and I wish I had more valuable things to say about that. I don't think it would do much good at this point. But um I also don't have them to say this is very much an active vein of um of digging for me, of learning. So um so that's always fun to just take a step back and observe
0:03:51 - 0:04:19and think instead of uh just laughing because I was thinking how I was going to say that um sometimes it's nice to be in a situation where, you know, you know, nothing. Um Anyway, during this conversation yesterday, she was talking about a person she knows and I'm gonna have to obfuscate details a little
0:04:19 - 0:04:44bit. So a young lady she knows and we will call her the victim because you'll see why and terrible things have been done to her. Um Probably the most terrible things that can be done to a woman. So use your imagination. Um And so she's facing these atrocities basically. And my friend mentioned that um
0:04:44 - 0:05:11it seemed to her that her feelings of love and concern and pain regarding the victim exceeded the pain that the victim actually felt. And obviously she was traumatized. But um my friend's heart just broke 2 million pieces and she's like, I don't understand why, how this can be. She just seemed so unaffected
0:05:10 - 0:05:45comparatively. And I said, well, you know, the Lord every time we feel joy, the Lord actually feels more for us vicariously. And every time we feel pain and sorrow, he feels more vicariously. And so doesn't it stand to reason that the closer to the Lord, we are, the more we would feel for others compared
0:05:44 - 0:06:12to how they feel. And there are deeper reasons for this that I can't fully explore right now or lay out right now. They include the fact that your awareness actually. Um let me backtrack, your emotions are conditioned on your awareness. And so most people, the perceptions of most people are clouded by
0:06:11 - 0:06:42great ignorance, which is an absence of understanding and great error, which is incorrect understanding. And so their emotions are usually not aligned with reality. And that I think is better understood by more people than what I'm about to say, which is as your understanding expands and you see more
0:06:41 - 0:07:16of the depth and breadth, I sorry, depth and breadth of um of reality. What happens is the degree of emotions that you can experience in breadth and depth expand. So God feels more than anyone else. Now, here's what's really interesting is that the path to generating those feelings does not come through
0:07:15 - 0:07:53detached feeling comes through building your rational capability. Very important. So your mental understanding is what expands your heart's capacity. So there's a very interesting interplay between your body and your and your spirit and um that's very related big overlap there. So God's mind will expand
0:07:52 - 0:08:33your heart. And because both ways you feel greater sorrow and greater joy and all the other flavors of feeling. And this is uh this is very important because as your mind expands and your your feelings expand, you need more, more tools to contend with that intensity. So um the gospel provides that the
0:08:33 - 0:00:00Lord provides those tools and their design is to help. Um limit is not the right word. Mitigate is closer, but contend with might be the best phrase. Contend with the negatives while maximizing the intensity and duration of the positives. That is what it's all about men are that they might have joy.
0:00:00 - 0:09:36Joy is a principal purpose of creation, increasing joy, not just to have it but to have it more abundantly. That's from John 10, right? So um if you're going to open up the floodgates to have more joy, you also have to open the flight gates to more sorrow because they cour all equal opposites cour but
0:09:35 - 0:10:09they co occur in experience. They don't have to co occur in duration or and um affect with an A. So they will always affect you, but they don't have to affect you. Very, very important ideas. So I'm just just keep laying out a taste of this. Uh There will be much more detail in this to come. Lots of
0:10:09 - 0:10:31scriptures too, but I just had that I was just reminiscing about yesterday as I was booting up for the day. And uh that was an interesting aspect. I think that opened a lot of doors for, for my friend. She, she was like, oh, and I could tell the, the wheels were cranking and she was putting a lot of
0:10:31 - 0:11:00things together with that. So, um their implications for this and how uh ministry goes, how service goes um how the heavenly hierarchy serves by flowing love from above to below. But um that's, that's probably enough for this short video.
