0:00:00 - 0:00:18We have a nice and offensive presentation today. It is short. This one's called Why A I will disproportionately harm women. Uh I was going through, I had tons of slides made about A I and I realized I never published them and I have a list of things that I want to tell you about the future. And um they're
0:00:18 - 0:00:38not gonna make as much sense without going into some of the long form arguments or analysis of these things. So here's one and uh let's get started. OK. So here is a list of jobs that are dominated by women and what you're going to find, you can take your time and read through them if you'd like. Of
0:00:38 - 0:01:02course, there are more is that there are things that are common between these jobs and one of those properties is the fact that these things are disproportionately going to be replaced by A I. So with some few exceptions, most of the jobs that are female dominated are going to be replaced by A I. Now
0:01:02 - 0:01:27I made a long video about what uh the properties are of those kinds of jobs. But in short, it's things that are repetitive. So anywhere you find a repetitive, predictable job, that's where A I is going to, to take over where a robot is gonna take over, whether that's a robot robot or just program, it
0:01:27 - 0:01:56doesn't really matter. The point is that a lot of people are gonna be out of the job. And if you did the same comparison with uh male dominated jobs, you will find that those jobs are much less susceptible to this replacement. So the question becomes, can women get jobs in those male dominated fields
0:01:55 - 0:02:19? And the answer is of course, of course, they can in some cases. Now, um those cases, they might be particular to specific jobs or specific situations within the broader field or whatever. But um there will definitely be variant as well in the ladies who are trying to get the jobs. So if you're doing
0:02:18 - 0:02:43a physical job and you're a very small person that's not gonna work too well, right? But, but again, exceptions abound and, and there will be a way in, in many of these things um to find an exception. But here I just wanna address broad patterns. OK. So don't get all crazy and offended by these, these
0:02:42 - 0:03:08patterns that we're talking about, they will be the dominant situation. OK. So many jobs have hard limits. Now, I mentioned physical requirements. So not only is that uh dealing with heavy things um or things that are physically difficult like uh turning a pipe wrench on a stuck pipe or something like
0:03:07 - 0:03:32that if you're a plumber. Um, but there's also situations where you're dealing with, with uh other people, violent people. So you see in the news all the time that these female cops, um, not all female cops are small people but, but some smaller female cops, they get uh abused by prisoners or criminals
0:03:31 - 0:03:55or whoever they're dealing with because they're small. So, um, that's an issue. But another issue that's a little less popular to talk about is that uh women as a class, they tend to struggle with long, intense physical labor, which is, you know, hilarious because um of the way babies come into this
0:03:54 - 0:04:16world, uh that, that would be precisely described with the same words, but we're talking about something very different and um you won't find a lot of women doing those kinds of things. What you find women doing in those uh broader fields of, of, of labor are the, the less intense things that also go
0:04:16 - 0:04:39on forever and ever. Right. So there's a distinction in intensity. Um So for in, for instance, how many female roofers do you know why? Because you're in extreme heat, you have to carry really heavy bundles of shingles up a ladder a million times. Um You know, it's dangerous, you could fall and it's
0:04:38 - 0:04:59just brutal. It's like 14 hours a day with that level of intensity. And so not a lot of ladies sign up for that. So, um, but, but I don't want to bleed too much into limits of choice, which uh some parts of that are limits of choice with the roofing example. But uh not many women can carry two bundles
0:04:58 - 0:05:19of shingles on their shoulders while climbing a ladder. That's just a fact. Ok. So it's a hard limit. It's not a choice. Um There are also intellectual requirements that as a class, women don't do very well at compared to men. And again, this can be super offensive to people. It's just the facts. I don't
0:05:18 - 0:05:50care. Um women as a class as a general set, they do not perform as well logically as men do. Um they, they also tend to be less truly novel as far as creativity goes. And uh what I mean by this, in, in both cases, what I mean by this is if you take the best representatives of the gender and compare them
0:05:49 - 0:06:14against each other, you will find many more men outperforming women. So uh if you look at IQ, you will find that there are many more very smart men than very smart women. Um And there's, there's a, there's an inverse of that. There are much fewer very stupid women compared to very stupid men, there are
0:06:13 - 0:06:38many more stupid men um because the distribution is flatter but, but with creativity, you see this as well. Um there are more abysmally uncreative men than abysmally uncreative women. And there are also more highly creative men than highly creative women. Uh If you look at authors, directors, artists
0:06:37 - 0:07:01of all types, you're going to see that pattern. And so um those are some limits that can't be negotiated, but probably more pronounced than this are the preferences of choice. The fact is that most women do not want to do the jobs that are male dominated today, they're already in those jobs and usually
0:07:01 - 0:07:24dominating them. So what I mean by that is historically, there were more male doctors than female doctors. Well, that's not the case anymore. Almost all med students are female. Um And you could go down the line if the job is preferable. Usually there's no um male supremacy as far as numbers go, there's
0:07:23 - 0:07:48no male dominance in that field. It's female dominated now. So if they're not already there, they're probably not gonna want to be there. Right? So, why is this? Well, um it depends very, very, uh there's a lot of variant here as with all of these things, but women tend to prefer time with family and
0:07:48 - 0:08:08time having fun to work. Men are more likely to derive purpose out of their job than women. That's just a pattern that happens in general. And so what you find is women prefer jobs where they can take a lot of time off where they have a lot of flexibility where they don't have to come in if they don't
0:08:07 - 0:08:29feel good on that particular day. So you're not gonna find them on fishing boats in Alaska where it's a three month tour, right? And you have to work all day, every day, whether you like it or not. So, uh in general, that's the pattern. You see. What about emotional aspects of job jobs? Um, they, it's
0:08:29 - 0:08:50, they're not attracted to stressful jobs. Testosterone has the effect of making men more productive under stress. And so it's kind of a cheat code, but it is a property. Um What about jobs with repeated failure like sales? So I went to uh a cell phone store the other day and there were many people working
0:08:50 - 0:09:13and not one of them was female and this was in a super lefty town. And so that's interesting. Why is that? Because most women do not want to be sales people because you, you're just, you, you get shut down all the time, you have to be aggressive. And um yeah, you have to be able to, to maintain emotional
0:09:12 - 0:09:30well being while being shut down left and right. And most women don't do that very well. They don't have to do it very well, right. They have things they can do in their life where they don't have to get shut down all the time. Um And then there's the whole idea of courage which you could obviously take
0:09:30 - 0:09:52this to the extreme and call it delusion. But men are much more apt to do things that seem to be super risky than women and that can be a really bad thing and sometimes it's a good thing. Um, and so that's a difference. What about what I call self inflicted damage? This one's really sad and I think it's
0:09:52 - 0:10:13kind of hidden to most people but it will become more and more apparent as time goes on. Uh, I don't know if you know this, but surveys have shown that both men and women, there are many men and women who do not want to work with women. I'll say that again. There are many men and women who do not want
0:10:13 - 0:10:40to work with women. And they say these are not my thoughts, these are not my preferences. OK? They say that the reason is that it's a worse risk reward than working with men. So men and women have said that um and, and I'm not saying that that they all say this or that even most of them say this. I'm
0:10:40 - 0:11:02saying there is a sizable contingent of men and women who feel this way and they say things like it's easier to work for a man ha working or working with men or for men because they're more consistent, they're less emotional, they're less conniving. They won't play these silly games. You don't have to
0:11:02 - 0:11:28be careful in criticizing them. You just say what's up and you focus on your job and then uh there's the, the increasing incident of false accusations and how those are handled in our highly biased system. So, um these accusations are true until proven false and many people have been taken out by them
0:11:27 - 0:11:53and not just men either. And it's really sad and it's really messed up. So, um those are all barriers to women, taking these jobs that are currently male dominated, I should say, entering into areas of the economy that are currently male dominated. Um So will these things change? I don't know, but, but
0:11:52 - 0:12:15I can guarantee you that a whole lot of ladies that try it are not gonna find success. So here are some highly predictable outcomes that will result from the fact that um women will be disproportionately negatively affected by A I in their job. And some of these are going to surprise you, but I've just
0:12:14 - 0:00:00given you the reasons uh there will be more women who earn less money than they do today. There will also be more women applying for jobs that are typically male and some of them will underperform or quit. So, underperform and be fired or quit. Um I think because of the predictable underperformance,
0:00:00 - 0:12:58underperformance, it's highly likely that you're going to see many more. Um Well, we'll get there, you're also going to say, see more monetary damage lawsuits. So these will be claims of discrimination in many cases because they underperformed and were fired because of underperformance. But they'll say
0:12:58 - 0:13:20it's because they're a woman in the win a lot. Uh, sexual harassment, which is already a huge problem, false accusations of that and also divorce. So if you're a lady and you're freaking out because you don't have an economic pathway anymore and you take this job that you're desperate for that, you'd
0:13:20 - 0:13:38never take under, under normal circumstances and you totally stink. It's your job or you really hate it and now you're really, really upset because you know that you don't have any other options and someone's hanging this golden carrot in front of you that is make a false accusation and you get money
0:13:38 - 0:13:57for not having to work. Uh A lot of people, not just women, a lot of people are of such a low moral character today that they will grab that carrot and they will feel totally justified in doing it. They're so warped that they probably won't even realize that they're lying, they'll convince themselves
0:13:57 - 0:14:17it actually happened and that is already happening. This isn't theoretical or just future. It's just gonna happen much more often. Same thing with divorce cases. So here's a weird one. There will be more women seeking stay at home roles in relationships. Now, this is funny because, um what you find in
0:14:17 - 0:14:35all these future scenarios and as they're unfolding currently, what you're finding is things that used to come together like marriage and Children, they don't come together anymore. You get Children without the marriage, right? But in many cases, um, people are trying to strip out the benefits of things
0:14:35 - 0:14:53without paying the full cost. And unfortunately because of human nature, the benefits they're seeking are actually the baser ones that, that aren't really the best part of the situation and they're totally missing out on the, the stuff that is, uh, is most beneficial. It's like juicing a, a piece of
0:14:53 - 0:15:09fruit. And you think that the best part is the juice, but the fiber is actually very important nutritionally for various reasons. So it's not actually the best part. It's just the part that you think is the best part and you're actually hurting yourself. And that is uh what's in play with this uh stay
0:15:09 - 0:15:29at home explosion that I truly believe is gonna happen. Now, I'm not gonna say most women will be seeking a stay at home role. I'm just saying you're gonna see a lot more seeking it. And um the funny thing is is that it won't necessarily be wives because people don't really get married today. These are
0:15:29 - 0:15:49gonna be stay at home girlfriends, which is, which is a funny thing or stay at home baby mamas. Um, but not wives per se. So, uh why are they going to do that? Well, because the cost benefit will have radically changed and before they could get some job where they feel like they're contributing and they're
0:15:49 - 0:00:00making some money and they're feeling independent and that illusion will just get ripped right out from under them. And so, um, women will also default to the long standing opportunity they have with prostitution. And here I want to be clear that this includes all forms, like only fans, for example,
0:00:00 - 0:16:33or being a, a sugar baby or whatever they're calling that. Um, all of these things, not just the old fashioned way, but the old fashioned way will also be an opportunity for those that don't have anything, uh, they can do to earn as much money. Um, so, uh, not that I'm, I'm not glamorizing that in any
0:16:33 - 0:16:53way. Uh, by calling it an opportunity, I'm just saying that they're, they're going to see it as an opportunity to make money, um, more money than they could make in other ways. Ok. So all of these things are gonna create a downward cycle. I'm not sure how obvious that is. So, um, all of them will increase
0:16:52 - 0:17:16the, the, the hesitance to hire women and they will, uh, also decrease the willingness for men to marry. Do you see how that works? So, how so, well, if you've got, you know, every lady applying for the job as someone who's lifting concrete bags and you've hired five of them with an open mind and all
0:17:16 - 0:17:35five absolutely failed to do the job. And, uh, three of them sued you for wrongful dismissal when you fired them, you're probably not gonna hire anymore right now. You're not gonna admit that because it's illegal. But maybe you'll just create a test to say, like, applicants have to lift this bag over
0:17:35 - 0:17:54their head and now you don't have to hire them anymore. And if you find some lady that can great problem solved, right. Um, but there are other situations that are less readily addressed. Like, what do you do when the last five women that you hired, just created tons of problems in the office with all
0:17:54 - 0:18:15the games and sensitivity and all these other things and calling out sick all the time and all these other things. Um, well, you got to solve that problem. And what about this willingness for men to marry? Well, how many guys have to lose half their stuff or worse before they stop getting married? And
0:18:15 - 0:18:35this is already a trend and it's just going to get worse. So, um, I, I, it used to be that, that people could say, well, if we sign a prenup, I can make sure that if my wife cheats on me, she can't divorce me and take half my stuff. But, uh, judges throw those out all the time now. And so, um, all these
0:18:35 - 0:19:00things are gonna accelerate because as more women seek stay at home roles, they won't be able to get them because guys will say no thanks. Go get a job. So, um, anyway, this is interesting and if it's not totally clear, there will be follow ons from all of these changes that are even more extreme. So
