All right, I remember what I was gonna say. Um So the second parable I was gonna talk about is the the lady that sweeps her whole house tears apart her whole house looking for the silver coin that she lost. So, uh again, this is just one application of the lessons in that parable. But um silver obviously
it has value, but in that parable, it's this coin is not the only coin this lady has, but she tears apart the house looking for it and um I know that most hats aren't gonna fit me, right? So there's a continuation, by the way, if you haven't watched the first one, this isn't gonna make sense. Um I didn't
mean to put it into two videos but I totally forgot the other thing I was gonna say I had to climb up on a ladder to remember. I'm Booker. It's my cat down there. He's asleep. Uh Anyway, so um the silver coin, right? So it's like this hat where I know most hats aren't gonna fit me. So I, I don't get
my hopes up but then when I find one that does to me, it's much more valuable than a regular hat is to a regular person who doesn't have a giant head because they can wear any hat. Right. And so, um, a lot of times it, well, it's super easy for us to have a, uh, a different value system than, than God
does. And I, I hope that's obvious but just how far off it is, uh God says in Isaiah that his ways are further from us than the heavens are from the earth. And that includes what he values and how much he values it by and what he thinks of the things that we value highly in the natural man. So uh if
you wanna understand the joy that it brings God when we repent of our sins, when we come to Him, when we begin to become more like Him, um there's a path to doing that and it turns out that along that path, you come to value things a lot more than anything else you currently value. So there's that. So
