Almah said o that I were an angel and could have the wish of mine heart that I might go forth and speak with the Trump of God with a voice to shake the earth and cry repentance unto every people. Alma 29 1, Alma was not sinning in his desire to do more for the kingdom of God. We all are ought to earnestly
desire to be more capable of con contributing greater value in God's kingdom, which means being more capable of sacrificing ourselves such that it renders this world or someone or something within it into something more closely resembling its full potential in the eyes of God, which is the same as living
in the way that yields the most valuable improvements you're capable of enabling Alma's sin was that he was desiring the outcome independently of the path to obtain it. He was allowing his wish to make a greater contribution to overtake his desire to make whatever sacrifice was necessary to render him
capable of doing so we sin when we desire what contradicts the law of cause and effect either by insisting we receive outcomes for which the price has not been paid or insisting on following causes we desire, but whose effects we do not desire. The ironic thing about this is that Alma was on the exact
path to the fulfillment of this promise, paying the exact price needed to receive it. And he continued on the path and this is how it works. You ask what you desire. God puts you on the exact path to it or at least makes that path aware to you, makes you aware of that path. It makes it available to you
and you endure to the end. It's like a package sent from far away. You know, it's sent as soon as you order it or as soon as the sender tells you, it's been sent, but you don't know when it will get to you because it's dependent on people and other factors that you don't necessarily see or control. An
intriguing comment was made on my channel recently about how the value of gospel ideas is greater than Elon Musk kind of money. I completely agree. I'll tell you it's worth even more than that. There are costs that exceed all the money in the world, in the truths God has and does share with me which
I pass along to you as fast as I am able are worth and cost far more than that. There are costs in life that are limited to what we have received from others or our temporal situation. But the greatest costs are unbounded by those limitations and they consist exclusively with what we've been given by
God. More about this will be discussed at a later time. The problem of course is that you can't know value beyond the greatest price you've ever paid. This is one reason why people assume that something like all the money in the world is worth more than what they currently have to give, which is not
true, any price limited by what you've received from others. I'm trying to be cautious in how and careful how I say this. Any price that's limited by what you've received from others is very much less than the price God has enabled you to pay already. However limits of our awareness and faith and other
things, other qualities will effectively blind you from that. One of the principal purposes of the gospel is to reveal to you exactly what that cost is and persuade you to pay it anyway. Um until you've paid the greatest price you can, according to what you're already aware of, you are very far from
even the faintest idea of the value God offers to you to everyone else. Jesus demonstrated that a person can through revelation experience the Dregs of hell without anyone else noticing. In Gethsemane, only three disciples accompanied him and they preferred to sleep in spite of ins instead of watching
this situation unfold, in spite of the gravity of the situation which should have been obvious even from an uh external and uninformed perspective. Their accounts of the event were not given from their own eye witness, they were asleep, but from revelation, from others through others. After the fact
, in fact, there was only one external witness to get Simone, there were three total individuals who were witnesses to it. The three were the father who could see it and who knew much deeper than sight could convey what Jesus was going through. Jesus who obviously witnessed it because he experienced
it. And a third individual which was the single angel qualified to be there with Jesus. And he's mentioned in the account, but this was not the beginning or end of Jesus's exposure to the dregs of the wrath of God, the cup, the bitter cup that he said he would have to drink entirely. He carried this
burden from the moment of his birth until the moment of his victory when he promptly released his spirit in order to prevent the revelation to the world of what would bring its end had he stayed. I've just shared with you several extraordinarily valuable keys to mysteries never revealed. Since the foundation
of the world you should replay and ponder them asking God to help you formulate the questions that they answer moving on. There was a cartoon called Dragon ball Z where the characters had a magical room where time passed much slower than it did on the outside whenever some new threat beyond their present
capacity arose. They would retreat to that room in order to train even for years and emerge just days later, in terms of the the time perceived in the outside world prepared for the fight that faced them. If there were such a room, I would retreat into it for 10 years or more in order to complete the
tasks of revealing and reducing to writing all of the ideas. God has given me access to another 10 years of my life is a price that would be easy for me to pay, being far less than sacrifices I've already made in the benefit of making these truths communicable beyond what they are. Uh so far is so much
more valuable than the cost. I've already paid to obtain access to them in the first place. And yet as Alma I sin in my wish because the outcome that I seek, which is that all people have made available to them, everything they need to receive everything they desire, which is the culmination of God's
purpose and creation is not available in the path of me absconding myself for years and returning with a series of 7000 or so pages of curated text. If it were, I could easily make provision for my family as Moses did with the help of God and walk off into the woods with a solar panel, a laptop, a copy
of the scriptures and a knife and see you in 10 years. The problem is that, that would only produce a ladder rung to which no person can presently reach beyond the serious issue of withholding from those who need it information that is required for them to overcome. What would otherwise overcome them
in those 10 years? All progress with God is progressive, sequential and successive. And you would be no more capable of receiving those books if they were produced in that way than I could write them. Were I standing in your shoes above all else? You have to make the changes to conform to your sincere
idea of how God is and what he would do and say and think and feel in your situation. You have to learn to value what he values and by how much He values it while you are under appreciating what you already have, you will certainly undervalue what is far better than what you already have. It's a false
presumption to believe that truth received through precept or example is less obvious and less valuable then truth conveyed through, for instance, mighty miracles in the succession of jesus' interactions with the world during his mortal life, those who perceived and valued and received the light and
truth that he conveyed in everything that he did prior to his working mighty miracles received far more from him than those who only started to see the picture. Once the miracles came, those early disciples were not just limited to people like Andrew and John who started to follow Jesus after hearing
an informational argument about his value and the value of what he taught or had to teach from John, the Baptist, whose value they received and perceived and received in the same way. But the early disciples that that uh distinction certainly also applies to his mother who knew him from the day he was
born arguably before that because she was a woman full of the spirit of truth. And Jesus referred to himself as the spirit of truth. Anyway, the point is that as light and truth billows forth the time, the best time to pay attention to it is right now. Well, the best time is when it started, the second
, best time is right now. But those who are waiting for some greater evidence to come later before they exercise greater heat and diligence will be sorely disappointed when they realize which might not be until the end that a delay in a rational intensity of response to what is an evidently intense signal
of light. And truth can only result in the loss of future, current and future light and truth, current light and truth because you cannot ignore, resist or reject light and truth in the present without losing the light and truth. At least some of the light and truth that you've accumulated to this point
and future light in truth, because God's blessings are not rewards for following rules. They are the outflow of even greater access to Him and everything good which is found in and through Him as a result of making ourselves more available to that outflow. While you're under appreciating what you already
have, you will certainly undervalue what is far better still and with failure to appreciate comes limits to joy and loss of light. Line upon line, precept upon precept. You'll proceed toward God as you live up to how you already believe Him to be. There are intermediate waves of light and truth that
you must be exposed to and react to appropriately between here and there, which is why I make these videos and write blog posts. It's all part of the same path and it's all necessary for the same outcome. There are many more exposures that you require to the things I've already written, which is why
I constantly invite you to finish reading the essential books, uh repentance through faith, men are that they might have joy and the glory of God is intelligence or to re read them and especially to share with others your own perspectives on who and how you believe God to be. Namely the ideas that prove
the intersection between your understanding of God and the experiences of life. It's necessary both for you and those you will reach that you do all you can to carry the light and truth that you've received from God out to all people in the form of encouragement and improvement and persuasion. Towards
what is better and revelation of what is good and how good it is and what is not good. It's important that you carry all of these things out into every facet of your influence in this world, first and foremost in your family, but also in your daily experiences at work and in social situations and your
work is required to take these deep transcendent truths, do the work of applying them to the many varied settings in life. And through your faith, help others to see those applications in those specific ways that thereby they can learn to think, feel do and say more as God would do in their place, irrespective
of their knowledge of God or their belief in God. And if they know and believe in God even better, if you help them to do that explicitly even better. But one of the ways that you are vastly under appreciating what you already have is in terms of the means already at your disposal to help others live
better than they are and encounter greater joy and strength and courage beyond the limits of their preconceived notions about God or faith or anything else in this world or beyond this world. That is your power is to take that light in truth to the end of the row, to take it to the coal face and apply
it in the very specific situations in life. And one of the drawbacks or I should say, one of the reasons that this is so difficult for you to do if you find it difficult is because you're not doing it already in your own life. So how are you going to take the light and truth to the applied specific aspects
of life in the life of others if you're not already doing it in your own life? And if you're just cruising through life on autopilot, following the ruts carved in the rock by all these other people who were just here taking up space. Then how are you going to help others get out of the rut and apply
the light to actually make their lives a masterpiece. It starts with you and then it extends out through your family and then out to the world through all of you. Now, I know that I've produced a lot of content. I've tried to limit the pace of these videos. Uh I typically have a month or two queued up
, uh which is the result of me trying to balance the ideas that God gives me with the urgency that I feel subject to the fact that if I produce videos more than every two or so days, the number of views goes down by a significant amount. So I know that you are overwhelmed. I know that a lot of you can't
keep up or won't keep up. But I encourage you to find strength in pacing yourself, not off of how you feel you've become comfortable in discomfort by embracing the discomfort. You learn to run faster by running faster than is comfortable. You learn to grow comfortable in God's presence, through learning
to be comfortable in discomfort that always precedes actual comfort. And if your rule is that you will only advance as far as is convenient, you will not advance very far at all. So if you see someone running at a faster pace than you, let it give you confidence that you are also human as they are. And
if they can run faster, so can you don't succumb to the temptation to believe that it's easier for them. It's not every increment cost more than what came before. You are currently struggling with what is easy for them, but they only got to where they were, where they are because they were willing to
struggle through what was a struggle for them. And even now there's something that they're pushing against that lies beyond your capacity to understand. And it's a much greater burden than whatever it is that you carry. And in spite of that burden, they're still running faster than you, those that run
faster than you don't have it easier, they have it harder. And if you think it's too difficult to process what is generated for you and served up on a silver platter might be a slightly dirty silver platter, but nevertheless, consider the cost of generating it, I promise you it's much greater it has
to be, you'll have to use your imagination because that cost it exceeds what any one other than those who pay it or pay something more can comprehend. That's the way it works. Awareness is progressive as is suffering as is faith, as is every aspect of the gospel. While you are yet unwilling to do these
things, you are certainly unprepared to be exposed to further light and truth that will require much greater sacrifices. You may say that you desire eternal life. But while you've not yet learned, the value of what has already been made available to you, you are sinning in your wish. The price of eternal
life is everything else. While you will not even invest the price of reading, learning and living will cost much more than the limits of your imagination. Concurrently, conjure up to receive and write. How can you consider yourself prepared for what costs far more still and requires far more still to
read, learn and live. The end times process is described in part as a stone cut from the rock rolling down the mountain. And so it is, but another facet of the process is a lot more like rolling a stone up a mountain, which is a task that gets more difficult with every step. Even if the burden is fully
established from the first, the glory of Glo. God includes limitless patience, long suffering, courage and strength, such that one becomes so unassailable that even the heaviest burden moves. The greatest challenges are overcome in the darkest abyss yields light, but it must be done in the Lord's way
for Ann and threw him alone is all glory, power, light and love and it's always worth the cost. May his love be found in you in the day when he again returns to rule and reign in his kingdom on earth that we may rejoice in his glory, be blessed by his power and live in his light forever.
