So I'm gonna make a video here uh just with a couple of notices and yes, I'm wearing a Budweiser shirt um which you might have a problem with for several reasons given recent events. But um just think of it as the disciples eating with unwashed hands if you will anyway. Um So I got a notice in my email
uh recently from the Amazon self published people and they said that they've been experiencing significant increases in their costs and that they were going to pass those on to the consumer at this point. So in June next month, um they're gonna be upping all kinds of costs associated with self publishing
and all of my books are listed at print cost at the moment and they have been since I published them. Um So I'm just letting you know that if you see the prices go up on things, that's not me, that's them. Um But this is just another example of gradually and then all at once. And this is a principle
I've spoken about before and I've told you that the information in these books will be increasingly difficult to get your hands on. And So hopefully you have a copy of all of the books, or at least some of them, um, they're not all equally valuable but, uh, there are differing opinions on which ones
are worth more. So, I guess to each their own, um, of course, you can download PDF copies at any time. You can save the MP threes of the ones that have audio books. You can find those on upward thought.blogspot.com still. And I just wanted to make another reminder that those things will not always be
available. And um this transitions well into something else that I've been meaning to share, which is um well, I was thinking about doing a series called QN A, not Q and A but QN as in November, a questions not asked because um and this has gospel implications. Um Many times when we have a problem, what
we think we lack is the solution. That's not actually hardly ever true. That might be a shocker for you to hear. You've probably never thought about that before. But it's true. Most of the times when we have an unsolved problem, we're lacking something else such as the truer perception of value of the
solution. Maybe the solution is right in front of your face, but you just don't see it as valuable. So you don't go for it more often than not unsolved problems continue to be unsolved because of constraints that we have imposed on the only solution or only set of solutions that will work. And so if
you don't, if you're not familiar with those words, like constraint, it's worth your time to look that up and, and learn more about that. I can't talk too much about that right now. But anyway, um, what was I talking about? Problems and solutions and unsolved problems? And, um, well, I don't know what
my original flight path was on that point, but I remember what the point was, which is um uh I, I have an idea of how it's going to look as I talk about all the many things that I know. God wants me to talk about. Um I have an idea of how that's going to look. I have an idea of how long it's going to
take and it's a lot of time and um I'm doing my best to spend hours a day and even more hours over the weekends, organizing these ideas, receiving more clarifying what I've already been given and processing things and organizing them. And um there will be books that are published eventually as long as
I have the opportunity to do so, but amongst all the many changes that I expect to occur, um is the decreased availability of these things. And so like these videos, I, I can still make a video on pretty much anything that I'd like to talk about and I don't have to worry too much about that video being
taken down. Although that could happen, I guess with a few things that I've said or my, my channel getting turned off. But I'm sure that as I continue to say things and as the bar for them doing that continues to drop, um eventually those two lines will intersect somewhere. And when you think of the
volume of things I've said on here, that's gonna be a huge loss when that happens. And no, I don't anticipate uploading those videos anywhere else or remaking them. So the good news is that um I try really hard to put everything into the books such that if everything else disappeared, those books would
be a fair record of the points that I've tried to make and share, I guess is a better verb with you. So what the way that I do things, it's, it's uh delineated by rules of engagement and I could write out what those rules are. They're that specific and they do change from time to time uh depending on
things. But right now I, I do my best to leverage these rules to get out as much as I can as early as I can. And so I give a lot of tidbits in these videos that otherwise would require a lot more time to wait and also your time to try to extract them out of books. Um It's not a one for one, they're not
equal, but I'm trying to feed if you think of the analogy of like a coal furnace and you're the furnace and the fire is from God. And it's, it's God's voice to you. I'm shoveling coal as fast as I can. And one of my rules of engagement is to make sure that you don't run out of coal. And so I am confident
in saying that no one has burned all the coal I have shoveled except for me, um, whether that continues to be the case or not, I'm not sure I've shared things recently that I wasn't gonna share for a long time, things I've been sitting on for four years or more, um that were ready to go four years or
more ago, but the time wasn't right because the people weren't ready and certain people were ready. And so I shoveled the coal and one of the another rule of engagement that I have is um I am always operating under incomplete information, believe it or not, we all are subject to incomplete information
. And so in that uncertainty, I try to live my life in a way that I don't have any regrets. And because I have an expectation of a range of things that could happen and I don't know exactly when they're all going to happen or all the details of all of them that's constantly being updated. But um I play
through those scenarios and I say, well, if this happens earlier than I thought or in a different way than I thought, what's the quantity of information that I would have wished I had shared? So when people have to walk through that, what will I wish they have had known before? You know, the, the channel
came down or the power went out, or the internet stopped working or they started imposing $100 fees for every book that you print or whatever. And, um, so you'll notice that recently there, there's been an uptick in activity on the channel and more notably an uptick in content, uh intensity, maybe the
quantity, the volume of light, maybe you've noticed that. So right now it's May 19th or something. I don't know what day it is actually, but I have content queued up every two days or so until mid June. And um, you know, part of that is trying to operate in line with your pace, which most of you, if
not all of you feel like you're being drowned here already. But, um, I know if I release multiple videos a day, people aren't gonna watch them and it'll just fall by the wayside and they'll just focus on whatever is out more recently. But you really, I hope that people see these things as a catalog of
content that they need to work through and different things will be different levels of value for different people at different times and you can focus more closely on some things than others. But, um anyway, I, I am up ticking the volume of the content and I'm not sure how long that can go on for because
it's extremely expensive. This morning. I ate up most of the four or so hours. I spent, um, working on this on spiritual stuff this morning. I, I ate up most of that making two videos and, um, I did some writing but I didn't do nearly enough and it, it's just a constant balance to try to feed the stove
and also work on the long term stuff. And those aren't independent. I, one of, one of the other tricks I use is that I focus on content that helps accelerate both, both avenues. It moves the needle on both areas anyway, I don't want to make this too, too long. Um But I just wanted it to explain some
, some differences that you might be noticing on this channel and explain why that is things uh things are continuing to change and we have to adapt to that. So um I guess in in conclusion, if you feel like you're drowning right now, um pray to the Lord for strength and realize that that part of the
process is you getting comfortable with the frequency of light and truth because he has a quantity that he needs to flow to you and through you to others. And um people just aren't where they need to be with that. And so um you're going to find that you need to find more time to learn the things that
he would like to teach you and that's going to require you to sacrifice time away from things that you've spent it on thus far in life. And hopefully you find that to be a transaction that is in your benefit and in the benefit of others. And if you don't, you shouldn't do it. But what you'll find is
more and more differentiation between what was and what will be. And um these, maybe this content is a piece of that. You find that your um former allotments of time are insufficient to keep up with the quantity of information that you're being given. And if that's the case, hopefully you can prayerfully
find the adjustments that you need to make to keep with it because part of the reason I'm doing more videos again, just to be totally clear. It's not one for one. It does not replace what's in the books. Um Hopefully there's synergy between those things, but they're not replacements. The, the videos
are not an easier way to get what's in the books. Don't think that. But um and I just, I need to be super, super explicit about that because I know how it works with, with most authors is the books about them making money and it really probably shouldn't even be a book. It probably should be a short
essay, but they just pump up the volume so that they can sell a whole book and then they go around on this circuit giving talks about the book and they basically give away everything that's in the book. And in fact, they probably stayed it clearer in the talk because they've given the talk 100 times
and they wrote the book before that. And when they wrote the book, they didn't have the ideas as clearly in their head. And, um, that's not what this is. That's if you haven't noticed the differences yet between this stuff and that stuff. Um I'm not sure where your head is because I, I, you know, when
you get closer to the source, you get more in a sentence than you get out of a book. When you're far from the source, this is highly, highly concentrated stuff that God has to give us. And the closer you get to Him, you have to learn to operate in that concentration. It's part of the package. You can't
come close without that. If you require things in a deluded state, you also have to be far from Him. You can't, I imagine the most intense, deep person, not even that you've met. Beyond that, the most intense deep person, you can possibly imagine God is incomparably more intense than that. Like there
is nothing you can use to describe how intense He is because everything you would use is so much less intense than him that it doesn't even connect. And so part of becoming comfortable in his presence is becoming comfortable in intensity, comfortable that, that not just that you are sort of passively
allowing it. The having a fullness of joy is not a state of tolerating something. It's hungering and thirsting and saying there is nothing better. I think of the attitude of Jacob when he was crawling towards the Lord on that faithful night. That's very badly recorded in the scriptural account. And he
just kept crawling forward in his mind wasn't like, well, I'm gonna tolerate this. Like a lot of spouses tolerate each other. You know, it's not like that. No. Or you tolerate the weird guy at the party. You tell your kids be nice to that kid. He's weird, but just tolerate him. It's a nice thing to do
. That's not good enough for God and it's not that he's not gonna accept you because you just barely tolerate him. It's not how it works. If you have the slightest clue of what he goes through to try to make it easier for you to come to him. I mean, it's astonishing, but you can't approach him in any
way if you are not all about everything he is. And that includes massive intensity and depth. If you're a superficial person and you're very uncomfortable, any time things get deep, you are not prepared to meet God and you're not gonna like it very much if you do. I promise you that if you think this
is bad folks I am just a man. If I could take you into his presence, you'd know what I'm talking about or you could get there some other way. I'm just saying if, if we could open this window together of what I've seen and felt and, and been through, you'd see what I mean? So, the best way to learn how
to run fast is to run fast. You don't say like, well, one day if I sit on my couch long enough, I'm gonna be a fast runner and people say like, well running is hard, running is hard. Yeah, trust me. I, I have asthma and I've, I've, I've been in many situations where I had to run and, and thank God, I
didn't know I had asthma. So I didn't have the excuse. I just thought I was a fat kid. So just don't make excuses for yourself, get out there and run and the harder you push at it, the easier it becomes and you can actually learn all the stuff that's hard for you. Now will go away. He said I'll make
your weaknesses into strengths. Do you believe him? See, we have this totally jacked up idea. They're being mighty and being strong and being good and being excellent that these are things that are given to you uh in the book of Mormon language that a man prospers according to his genius, genius, you
have to look up the word in the 18 hundreds sense. It was much more clear that that's something that just happens. It's like magic. Like people think of Mozart being a magical composer because he was able to do things as a kid that other people couldn't do. He's a prodigy and we still have this myth
that excellent people are born that way born different. Well, we can't go too far into this for time and everything else. There are differences that we are born with but they are not what you think they are. There not anything that could be described as an advantage, believe it or not, holy, people are
born behind the eight ball, not in front of it. And I'll tell you all about that sometime. But, but here's the point it's not, you don't become a good runner because you're naturally a good runner. Anything you're naturally good at is only gonna take you so far and it's not far enough, not, not in our
day because to be average isn't good enough anymore. Some people are naturally good at stuff to a point that they can hold up with the average, maybe be a little bit better than average. Well, that's not good enough anymore. And if you want to really be good and really be excellent and really know what
love is that is gonna take you running your butt off to way past the point of not being able to breathe until you can until one day you can because God has made you mighty and nothing about that came from you. Not one ounce of it. So we have this myth that mightiness, that strength, that goodness it
comes from just inherently inside of us. That is baloney. You know what it comes from, it comes from God and we receive it as we stop thinking, we're something special. The most special people are, those who believe themselves to be least special and they got the heck out of the way and let God do his
work on them. And he took what? And they took what he ha he offered and that's how they became mighty good, strong because all that stuff comes from God doesn't come from us. We impede that. We have to get the heck out of the way and let God flow into us. So we need to dispel that myth right off the
bat. So if it feels like it's too fast, it only feels like it's too fast because you're still counting on your own speed. Let it go. Let God flow into you and through you, you worry about his pace, not your pace and you keep your eyes fixed on him and your heart and your legs will follow, your legs will
follow where your eyes are pointing and where your mind is and where your heart is. If all you're thinking about is how hard it is and how slow you are, you'll never run fast. You think of yourself as the wind and you will fly like the wind. And not surprisingly, there are scripture. There's scripture
after scripture after scripture talks about this. So bear up on the wings of eagles and find the strength of God to run at his pace, his pace that he's showing you. He'll show you what's good. What's true? What's beautiful. You just hunger and thirst after that and you run as fast, not as fast as you
can, as fast as you need to, to stay with it. You don't worry about your limits. You just keep going. And if you're still alive and kicking, you've still got more to give, you've still got more to give. Just like when you're running, if you're still moving your legs, you can still run faster. If you
haven't passed out yet, you've got more to give. So anyway that, uh, I got a little fired up there. But, uh, those are the thoughts I wanted to share but make use of the time because these changes, they're not gonna stop. They're gonna accelerate. They're gonna continue to increase in frequency and in
intensity and you've got to orient your life so that you make room to receive the bounty that God is giving. And if you don't, that's fine, that's a choice you can make, but you're gonna regret it. I promise you that
