So I've been kicking around uh the thought of making another prophecy video. That's not what this is gonna be per se. But related to that, I think I have reason to believe that there are quite a few people out there that might watch this that currently don't understand just to what extent things are
gonna change and how quickly and specifically how this is gonna apply to your day to day life. So I want to focus on that. And if I can navigate this, the way I intend, you should come away from this with a better understanding of how uh your way of life is going to drastically change in all likelihood
in the next short while. And the hope with this, when we look at changes that we could make to orient ourselves more fully with the best that we can imagine across all things in our lives. A lot of times, uh the obstacles that we perceive that persuade us not to do so are um illusions. They're not either
they aren't as we believe they are or very commonly the cost benefit of the situation, both in terms of the perspective changes and also in terms of what we would change too, I mean, the alternative that's available and also in terms of our current trajectory, those are usually not accurate. So um we'll
go with that. So um in terms of the near future, what I'd like to do is just jump around a few specific examples of things that have happened in the recent past and make a really brief case to sort of generalize this and suggest where this might be going in the future. So the recent history, what we
saw was that government pushed hard to force a lot of people to do things that they believe were not the best thing to do. And um a whole lot of people went along with that under the false presumption that the government had any idea what was best for them. And uh I should say the public too, we can't
push this, put this all on the officials. But a whole lot of people thought that they had much greater confidence in their, their understanding of what was beneficial than they should have. And they did not have a very clear idea of just how wrong they could be and what degree of detriment could be caused
by that. We'll leave it at that. So recently, there has been, well, actually it's been going on for quite a long time. There's been this long path with very recent significant uptick in activity of things like a central bank digital currency or some other way for the central banks of the world to make
direct payments to individuals historically, without getting into tons of details. They have, their meddling has been limited to working with other banks. Um So putting that directly into the hands of people in the end would result because it would be used to quote unquote drive policy. So uh what you
can, what you can um imagine this would look like is anything that political forces wanted to promote would be um coerced uh on the population, population would be coerced to do through the means of issued currency directly to people. And this would be limited in how it would be spent. This is not theoretical
. These people have written white papers on exactly what they want to do and the policies have been suggested and worked over by committees and things. And so if they wanted to push electric cars, then they would give people money that you can only spend on electric cars. If they wanted you to spend
money on certain things in a certain time period, they'd give you money and then they put a time limit on when you could spend it. So, um just recently, the Brazilian government which has been experimenting with so called universal basic income, I say so called because this is one of many tricks to get
the populace to buy into something that can never ever be what it's purported to be and, um, universal income is never universal. Uh, they're not dumb enough to believe that that would ever work. But they, they call it that because they know you're dumb enough to believe them. And then what they do is
they instantly before the first dollar or whatever the currency is in this place before the first unit of, uh, money changes hands. What they do is set rules on who gets it. And the first set of rules tends to be income based rules. So right off the bat, it's not universal, it's welfare, it's just for
poor people. Um and then they add layers of other requirements. OK? And this is the point, this is the point. So we'll develop this more fully. So in, in the case of Brazil, um as they're rolling this out, their president just said, by the way, you have to be fully vaccinated to get this money boom right
there. So that's interesting. OK. So let's kind of like zoom out a little bit and just look at what we know is already the case. So governments like to tie their handouts to getting people to do the things that they want them to do. That's just well established, right? Brazil is just the most recent
. This is, this happens all the time. OK. What else? And we know that the central banks of the world have been salivating to be able to give direct payments to people that they would absolutely tie to specific things and specific time frames to drive people to do what they want them to do. Ok? Now, this
is all happening amidst a sudden collapse in the value of the world's currencies. Our dollar notwithstanding here in the US. So you've got um a whole lot of people, a lot poorer than they would otherwise be. Um, at the same time, the central banks are pushing these direct payments at the same time that
governments did give direct direct payments during COVID. And they also slapped all kinds of weird rules on that. The personal stimulus checks had rules, uh, in, in terms of income limits. But, um, and Children are not and all this other stuff, the business ones had some really weird rules. You're probably
insulated from this if you don't have a business. But, um, very arbitrary lines of, if you made this much, you get this much if it was in this quarter, but not that quarter, just pages of arbitrary rules that, uh, in many cases made the difference. You know, if, if a company had made 100 more dollars
in a certain quarter or not fired this person at this specific time, if they had waited two weeks, you know, you're talking $100,000 difference in what the government would have given you. Just ridiculous things like that. And anyone familiar with welfare system knows all about the ridiculous limits
that they like. You know, people don't go and work an extra 10 hours a week even though they could, because if they do, they'd lose a lot more than 10 hours worth of welfare benefits. So, silly things like this because the more centralized something gets the less, well, it will fit particular particular
cases. That's just a fact. And then mix this with this megalomania of these people in power and uh and the specific delusions they happen to believe in. We're in big trouble, big, big trouble. Ok. So what if there were a situation where? So, so now I'm giving you particulars that I'm not saying are gonna
happen. I am inviting you to focus on the general stuff and then whatever particulars happen, you're gonna look at the general stuff and say, wow, ok. Yeah, that lines up, that lines up, that lines up. So prep for the general stuff because the general stuff is really obvious when you have to pre predict
particulars, it gets really hard. But the general stuff that the writings on the wall, so let's say that stuff gets really freaking expensive, like even more than now, although it's really bad now. Ok. And then, um you know, you get this weird carbon tax on your car if you drive a gas car all of a sudden
you, the government's gonna charge you 25 cents per mile or something. Um So your cost for driving goes through the roof and let's say you live in a rural area, which by the way is disproportionately not aligned with the governing party. Um So in other words, they don't have much to lose by alienating
those people who will probably forever have a minority vote from this point on because of the demographic shift. Um So, so it used to be that as people got older, they started to move away from voting for left leaning policies. Um And it was pretty well correlated with age because it turns out people
make more money as they get older typically. Uh, because they get more valuable, they acquire more skills and more sense in how to save that money or invest it or at least not spend it on stupid things. And, um, that isn't the case anymore. So, and then, um, of course, the, the normal split and people
say under 30 doesn't really exist anymore. It's all one way. So that's the, the demographic change I'm talking about. Um, so anyway, um, so suppose that things like a per mile gas car tax come along or they just make it illegal for car companies to make them and they phase out over time or, um, as the
cost of things increase, uh, stores in rural areas shut down. Um My point is that between all of these things, um, or sorry, let me, let me finish the tirade here or they, they start pumping money into the hands of very specific groups of people who aren't you And so the people who like you aren't, them
will end up disproportionately impoverished because you're less cushioned from inflation than they are. Does that sound theoretical? Well, maybe you didn't know that about a year ago, uh recipients of food stamps got a 30% increase in their allotments. Uh, coincidentally, right, about at the time that
the cost of food went up by about 30%. Isn't that interesting? Uh, I didn't get a 30% raise at work and you probably didn't either. So, we just get to pay more for our food, right? So, things like that are already happening. So what if that just keeps happening? Right. Doesn't take a drastic change if
it just keeps happening. So you go through all of these things and all of a sudden, you know, if you're not getting a basic income check of $1000 a month or $500 a month or whatever the heck it is. But everyone else is, guess what? The price of everything goes up and you get to pay more while having
the same amount of money and they get to pay more, but they have more money to pay. Do you get it? So, um, across the board with all these things, my point with this is the following. It's a really good idea to get into a place where you can grow more of the food that you eat. People don't seem to realize
that that's not a switch that you can flip in a, in a minute. It takes knowledge. You need tools, you need land, that land needs to be prepped. Take some machinery. Sometimes it's not as easy as just throwing some lettuce seeds in the ground. A lot of people got into chickens with the price in eggs going
through the roof and they found out really quickly that that's not as easy as it seems. Now it is easy once you get to, to, to, to doing it. But if you're used to just showing up at a grocery store and paying a dollar for a dozen eggs, uh, yeah, it's a lot different than that. Right. So, being able to
grow your own food is a really big deal. But there are other things to think about. Like, if all of a sudden it was really expensive to drive, what shape would you be in with your living situation? So, if you commute an hour each way to work, that's a pretty big liability. Right. Um, there are other
things to think about. Um, if you are on government money in any way, shape or form your government employee, you're a government retiree, you're on social security or Medicare or Medicaid or anything like that. Food stamps, any of that stuff, be prepared for ridiculous requirements that will require
you to do something that you do not believe is a good idea to do. The scope of that remains to be seen, but that's something if you're dependent on any of those things now is the time to use those resources to get to less dependency. Right. So, like, if you, if you are, uh, on retirement money from any
of that, maybe there's a path where, I mean, the possibility abound but like, maybe you should, can cut some kind of deal with one of your kids or, um, I don't know, something else where maybe you could move into an apartment on someone else's property or downsize your house or whatever, um, where you
could have some sort of cushion and, and when I say cushion, I'm, I'm pointing mostly not so much to money but turning that money into the ability to grow food or the, the ability to be away from cities. Um, and, and the particulars of this, you're gonna have to figure out it's, it's, uh it's complicated
and it's gonna be very unique to whatever your situation is and you're the one that's gonna be responsible for it. So you gotta figure it out yourself. But the writings on the wall that this stuff is coming and I know people who are on disability or this or that or whatever. And if, if today let's just
go with something we know from the past, if today the US said, uh in one month's time, anyone who's not fully vaccinated, whatever they define that as, um, cannot get food stamps or cannot be on Medicaid or can't be on disability, they won't get their check until they prove they've been vaccinated. If
that's something you don't want to do, you're gonna be in trouble. So, um I'm not saying that's gonna happen. Uh It could totally happen, but um the question is not so much so, so as a species, we're always optimizing for past conditions and the problem is the future is not the past, it turns out. So
, um but we can look at the past to derive general principles and use that to prepare for the future. So maybe you can't predict the next stock market crash, but you can predict that there's gonna be one, right? You, you might not know when it is, but you could know that there with high likelihood that
there will be one or um maybe the next thing that the government shoves down your throat isn't a vaccine, but maybe it's also going to be something that you don't want to do that there's not sufficient evidence for and that there is sufficient evidence against. So, um in the future, when something like
that happens, so like maybe you shouldn't work for a company that's run by idiots who are gonna make you do something that's obviously a very bad idea, right? And so the time to make those changes is when uh is before you need to, because usually when you need to, the stakes are much higher. So I have
a friend who works for a government contracting firm. He has forever and like most people who work for government contracting firms, he makes a lot more money than he should. And, um, that means that if he were to take a job anywhere else with his skill set, he'd probably take a 30% pay cut, at least
. So. And he would actually have to work whereas right now he can play video games and watch TV, most of the day. Um but um isn't government great. So, um I told him a long time ago, I started working on him and I said, man, you really should think about switching jobs. You should think about picking
up skills that can eventually restore you to your present pay level because right now you're working the only place you could doing what you do, they constantly have these contract negotiations and by the way, you're gonna have to do whatever the heck the government says you have to do and they tend
to require people to do stupid things. So, um he didn't listen. And then when the shot mandate came, he was freaking out because he didn't want to do that. And he's married, he's got kids and he, he um structured the situation in terms of, I have to risk my life in order for my family to continue to
live um not live, period. But, you know, according to whatever standard of living they have. Now, the funny thing about it is. His wife doesn't work. And, um, he had a long time to figure this out. And my point with this is it really wouldn't have been that, that much hardship for him to say, hey, um
, we're not gonna do this. We'll figure it out. We should have figured it out sooner, but we'll figure it out. Now. It's like that saying, the best time to plant a fruit tree is seven years ago. The next best time is right now because it takes a couple of years for them to start bearing. So, um, that
didn't happen. He got shot, he's still alive, but who knows what the future holds. So, um, you know, someone came and they had AAA revolver and there's six chambers in there and they put two bullets in there and they spun it and they said, now put this to your temple and pull the trigger. Uh, you probably
wouldn't want to do that if you had the choice between doing that and quitting your job. This is, you know, an arbitrary situation. But let's just say, right. They said you either pull the trigger or you quit your job. Those are your only two choices, then you'd probably just quit your job, right? Because
there's a really high chance that you're gonna die. And in his case, it's like he's doing this for his family. Well, not exactly because if he dies, his wife doesn't work, his wife can't really make any money because she hasn't worked, she doesn't have career options open to her. And, uh, yeah, I mean
, how, what, uh, they're gonna be better off at that point. So, it's just a question of running the odds. Right. So, people do irrational things when they ought to be preparing for what's obvious and then when what's obvious happens, what's obviously going to happen happens, they just double down on
the irrationality and that's really unfortunate. Right. So, you know, pay attention to this, the writing on the wall and don't just float downstream because it's gonna get worse. It's not gonna get better, it's gonna get worse. And if people are doing certain things now they're, they're just gonna do
worse things later. And so now is the time to get to a point a place in your life where you're less dependent on the grocery store, you're less dependent on the government, you're less dependent on neighbors acting like human beings because all of those things are going to be shown to be really bad ideas
, those dependencies in the time to come. If it's not already obvious, it'll just get more and more obvious like someone's turning up a knob. So anyway, that's my rant. Um I hope that's more practical. I'm just gonna hit you with stuff. If I do this Prophecy video, I'll just hit you with stuff and not
really extrapolate anything from it. But hopefully this gives you some practical things that you can think about and work on because now is the time and however difficult it is, I promise you, it will just get more difficult. So don't do things that don't make sense and, uh, that goes both ways. So if
, if what makes sense is making the changes, it will make even more sense later. But the benefit to you will be, uh, greatly reduced if you wait. So if it doesn't make sense, don't do it. But that includes the changes and also it, it includes avoiding changes if those don't make sense to make. And it
also includes making them if it makes sense to make them because it, because the thing that doesn't make sense is to stay the same, keep your behavior the same when the conditions have clearly changed. So those are some thoughts.
